St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church - Ministries

Services: St. Nicholas holds regular Sunday Liturgies along with feast day Liturgies during the week. All Liturgies are held at 10 a.m. with Orthros preceding at 9:00 a.m. Vespers are held each Saturday at 5:00 p.m. Please consult the calendar page for feast day Liturgy schedules.

Sunday School/Catechetical School: Our children meet for instruction in the Church hall immediately following communion on Sunday mornings

Philoptochos: This philanthropic organization of the Greek Orthodox Church holds periodic meetings at the Church and members' homes. Dedicated to assisting with the various outreach ministries of the parish, St. Nicholas Philoptochos has worked with Caritas and Mission Waco along with many individual projects within the community.

Choir and Jr. Choir: St. Nicholas' choir sings weekly with periodic practices. If you would like to join the choir please see the Choir Director after Liturgy or contact the Church.

The Jr. Choir sings the first Sunday of each month. Practices are held on Wednesdays except for the week following the first Sunday. Practice times are listed on the Calendar. Young people at least 6 years old and older are invited to join our angelic voices.

GOYA and JOY: Youth organizations of the Greek Orthodox Church. Meetings and activities are periodic. Check the church calendar page for dates.
